Writing is a very tricky business. I do not like the call myself a writer. I like to write things. I like to write webpages and small chunks of fiction. I often enjoy combining the two. But writing is something I do in my spare time, it is not who I am or who I want to be when I grow up for real. So, I would also not be as pretentious to label myself an author either. I am more of a hobbyist. Writing is a hobby. However, there is not much point in my writing my bits of fiction if I don't share them with anyone else. The design of the Writings website is old, but I worked hard on it for a particular look and feel. I am loathe to change it, even though I know that I must, some day soon.
